Demand a Nationwide Inquiry Into The Programming Code Used In Electronic Voting Booths.

The Issue

Electronic voting booths are especially vulnerable to the risk of programming fraud, due to their tremendously important role in deciding elections for office.  No machine, should have the ability to subvert the will of the entire democratic process, and thus the citizenry of the republic, at the whim of a covert hack, and possibly by a single programmer no less. There must be a paper record of individual votes, held in separate locations around the nation as it has been in the past.  Without paper ballots, there exists no possibility of a recount, as electronic results are stored digitally, and theoretically un-alterable, unless they’ve been compromised.  This is highly illogical and enormously dangerous to the stability and sanctity of our nation in the new digital era.

The purpose of this petition is to raise awareness in the community, and to demand that either electronic voting booths are replaced by paper, or that there exist a fail-safe network of independent consultants to review the code for accuracy.  The former being the main objective.
