/r/politics doesn't represent anything other than extreme leftist hysteria, conspiracy theory and baseless slander. There is no meaningful discussion that can occur there on the topic of politics which is why there are 4 million other politics related subreddits who are trying to take it's space as an open area for an exchange of news and ideas. The /r/politics subreddit of today should exist, but it should be correctly labeled for what it is, a bunch of hysterical college students who are studying underwater basket weaving and lesbian dance theory but like to moonlight as political science majors, rather than the front page of political discussion on the internet.

It is much to the shame of ALL of Reddit that one of the main and oldest subreddits on the website exists purely now as a political tool of the extreme, irrational left.
