It is widely accepted nowadays that animal abuse is among the worst things an individual can do. In most countries it is in fact illegal, and can result in several years of prison time. This is the reason why the subreddit r/Chonkers is an outright crime, and it must end NOW.

R/Chonkers is basically an online space that low-key promotes animal abuse! In this case, members of this community are ,deliberately or not, overfeeding their pets, just to gain meaningless internet points. These people think it is okay to overfeed their pets and make them severely obese, just for a bunch of online "fame". Just for a minute, imagine if a community with hundreds of thousands of members, promoted parents making their toddlers morbidly obese, so as to show them off as "cute" and "beautiful". It would result in outrage ACROSS the globe, and they would all end up in prison. So why is this subreddit, a literal crime, getting away with it? These people are literally getting away with animal abuse!   

This is why I created this petition, to hopefully raise awareness of this disgusting community of people on Reddit, and hopefully ban them form the site!
