Allow Reddit users to delete their posts entirely

Allow Reddit users to delete their posts entirely
The Issue
The vast majority of social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) allow posts made by users to be deleted entirely. This includes the post, any comments made on the post, any notifications regarding the posts and any links to the posts. Reddit does not allow this. When a Reddit post is "deleted" the link to the post is still accessible and anybody with the link can read the post and comments. In addition, there are numerous third-party websites including https://www.removeddit.com/, https://www.reveddit.com/, and https://camas.github.io/reddit-search/ that allow people to see deleted posts and comments. This petition is requesting that Reddit:
- permanently delete all data (comments, titles, images, links, videos, etc.) from posts and comments that have been deleted
- permanently delete all comments associated with a deleted post
- permanently delete all inbox notifications associated with deleted posts and comments
- permanently remove any links associated with a post or comment that has been deleted.
- permanently delete all data associated with deleted accounts
- request that the creator of removeddit.com, reveddit.com, camas/gihub.io/reddit-search and other similar websites take down their websites and permanently delete all content associated with them. Jason Baumgartner, known on Reddit as /u/Stuck_In_the_Matrix is behind several of these services.
People deserve the right to have their data deleted upon request, especially if it contains sensitive information. Reddit should follow in the footsteps of other major social media platforms and give their users this right.
