We, the public, would like Redcar and Cleveland borough Council, to allow the construction of the new, Coatham Arena, to be built on the site of the old Coatham Bowl, in Redcar.
Coatham Arena Ltd, is a non profit making organisation, that was set up to bring back to Redcar a new, improved, performance venue, to replace the once famous Coatham Bowl, which was demolished in 2014. They are in partnership with leisure developers Destination Developments and Global consultants and engineering group, Mott MacDonald. The new arena, would regenerate Redcar and the wider area and bring jobs and growth back to this proud, seaside town. Yet Redcar and Cleveland Borough council, want to provide a car park and a childrens pitch n putt golf course, instead.
