Make Frosted Raspberry Winter Edition Redbull a Permanent Flavour

The Issue

Like many people, I enjoy drinking Redbull. I would consider myself one of the top supporters of Redbull Energy in my local area, and am always thrilled when a new flavour is released. I first tried the Peach Edition when I was in Florida last January and was ecstatic when I found the flavour in Canada a few weeks after I returned. The Summer Edition watermelon flavour was also a major hit among myself and friends, and to see it become a new permanent Edition Red was a huge win for the avid consumer.

Redbull recently launched the 2020 Winter Edition, Frosted Berry, and to say this flavour is good would be a massive understatement. I remember the morning I first tried Frosted Berry, like many of you likely do. It tasted like sweet, sweet freedom. At a time in our history when the world was looking grim, Redbull offered a shimmering light in the form of an energy boost.

For the weeks following the launch I purchased two to three of them every day, however I was yet to know that stock was being depilated at a rapid rate. Perhaps it was naive to assume that there would be an abundance of the 5 star beverage. Reality set in when three weeks ago my local gas station was sold out, I told my girlfriend who was co-piloting with me at the time, that we had to try another store. To my surprise and dismay the next store and the one after that were also sold out. We spent three hours that night checking all of the stores around us to no prevail.

My last hope was to try Amazon, where I was able to find the Winter Edition in the illusive 24-pack. I immediately added three cases to my cart and checked out. However things were not at great as they had seemed, the product was back ordered and there was no guarantee that it would return. To this day the delivery date is still pending.

I decided I must contact Redbull directly to get to the source of this shortage, I informed them of my situation and they gave me the email of the local distributor. Following the chain of command I contacted distribution and was regrettably told that Redbull Canada had not anticipated such high demand for the new Winter Edition flavour. As a result the flavour was sold out across Canada, and all orders come directly via boat from the headquarters in Austria. The average time for delivery is 3 - 6 months and there would not be enough time to have another shipment brought in for the current winter season. They told me that Redbull was in talks about bringing the flavour back as the Winter 2021 Edition.

I am hoping to find the signatures of true patriots that like myself, would like to see Frosted Raspberry Redbull made a permanent, Edition Cool Blue. My hope is that with enough signatures we can reach the Redbull North America CEO, Stefan Kozak and persuade the company into giving us hope during these trying times.
