Quotes so far.

Bob Archer quote is:"We should not let the developers and Redbridge Council ride roughshod over residents. Many residents are worried about the changes that such a big development will cause to the area, including the air quality at and around the big intersection at Goodmayes".

Bob Archer, Secretary, Redbridge Trades Union Council

Keith Prince AM  Quote is:

As the Assembly Member for Havering and Redbridge I am very concerned about the relaxed approach Redbridge and  Tesco’s Are taking towards this development in regards to Air Quality. That is why I have written to the CEO of Tesco’s asking them to release any Air Quality data they have.

My quote is:

Andy Walker, a resident at Blythswood Road writes:

In 2019, Gladman Developments Ltd. lost their application to build an estate in Kent at the Court of Appeal on air quality grounds. Professor Peckham gave evidence for the application about how the proposed development on farmland would damage residents health in in the surrounding area which was favoured by the court.

Redbridge Council were to monitor air quality at Barley Lane, Chadwell primary and other schools so as measure the cumulative impact that the development would cause on child health. However, inexplicably, the Council has now decided against estimating the damage will cause to child health, so making important that we commission our own air quality report. It must be of concern that Cllr Howard, the cabinet member for the environment will not retract his statement,"When..people objected because of bad air pollution. This was not from a genuine concern about stopping air pollution. It was about stopping development" If you disagree with Cllr Howard and agree that school monitoring take place please sign the petition www.change.org/stoptheTTT

Getting the air pollution evidence from schools from schools could mean the difference between winning or losing so sharing the petition would be great. You can lodge a late objection on this or any other issue at (insert email when provided by Council) END of quote
