Dear Petitioner I am writing to update you on our #WeWantSay campaign against the Council proposed Parking Scheme. In advance of the Council meeting this Thursday on the 19th, and for your information, we have this morning published transcript of the speech from our campaign lead, Mr F Mohammed, on our Twitter page https://twitter.com/WeWantSay. This was one of several speeches that were made by our @WeWantSay Action Group at Redbridge Council Neighbourhood Services Committee, Cabinet Meeting, etc. and acknowledged by Cllr Athwal, Leader of the Council at the Public Meeting as key in the Council deciding to stop their proposed Parking Scheme and engaging in full and detailed consultation towards designing a scheme which is aligned to our area. We will be attending the full council this Thursday to present the final petition and make deputations to ensure the Council follows up on the commitments made last week. The meeting is open to the public so if you are able to attend and support our team it would help our campaign. I would also like to take this opportunity to ask you to encourage anyone who has not yet signed the petition to do so as we plan to continue collecting signatures up to the 19th. You can also follow our updates on our Twitter account @WeWantSay. Thank you Donna Mizzi – Wanstead Resident & @WeWantSay Action Group
