The current signatures have already achieved some very encouraging results. Redbridge Council has agreed to make some changes and to fully consult businesses and residents on the design of the scheme. BUT we want the findings of that consultation immediately acted upon and the council's timeline seems incredibly short – the leader wants to launch the parking scheme in March. We need to keep up the pressure, so please continue spreading the word about this petition, and encouraging more people to sign it. The more signatures and comments, the better. It will be presented on Thursday evening, 19th January, at the Full Council meeting starting at 7.15pm in Ilford Town Hall.
