Dear Petitioner, Thank you for your signature and support in order to STOP Redbridge Council imposing an unjust parking scheme upon us and the rest of Wanstead. I am writing on behalf of our local action group , We Want Say, to ask for your additional support by attending the upcoming Redbridge Council and committee meetings on the 4th, 9th, 10th and 19th of January. The web link http://moderngov.redbridge.gov.uk/mgCalendarMonthView.aspx?GL=1 provides the full details of agenda, time and venue for each of the meetings. (The relevant meeting this Wednesday is the Neighbourhood Services Committee.) As many people as possible should attend each meeting to highlight the strength of feeling against this trial, and make it clear to Redbridge Council that we will not accept this imposition without proper consultation and agreement of the measures with the local community. We Want Say's small group of volunteers will be attending all four meetings to represent our collective views regarding this petition, but all our voices will be much louder with you attending to support.
