There have been an increasing and steady number of vehicle fatalities. According to the CDC many of those death are cause by drivers under 25. And the number of fatalities is on the rise. I intend to raise awareness and possibly even enact into law an initiative for people under the age of 25, any drivers of 2 or more at fault accidents, or 3 or more moving violations to be REQUIRED to participate in a Traffic Safety School, hopefully lead by local police departments. I would like to see this in all local high schools all over the US. We need to educate our youth on the severity of their actions inside a motor vehicle. Basic exams to receive a driver's license aren't enough. We NEED to do something, instead of just hoping it'll change. WE ARE THE CHANGE!! Parents should not have to be suing other parents while all are dealing with the death of their children, people shouldn't have to be in moral conflict over finances and the death of their loved ones, siblings, friends, kids friends and families, ect. Everyone is affected. I believe this will also help young minds learn anger management and self-control. This is a high impact that always affects the community and in some cases the nation. Youth deaths are one of the hardest things for anyone to deal with, so let us lower the reasons for those deaths. The at fault deaths can be significantly lowered. We can change the number of parents and loved ones losing their children and going to sleep at night feeling lost. Sign and make the promise to be part of the change.
