For the first time in Super Bowl History, The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. This is definitely something to remember as we are overjoyed.
This is once in a lifetime event could be destroyed by school interfering with this big event. Many fans would like to have the privilege to celebrate this huge win! Students should be able to show their Eagles pride and celebrate! Imagine this victory never happening again, many are yearning to go to this parade yet the school is dictating their decision.
Taking part in sports can create teamwork, which is something many come to face in the workforce. By taking part in this celebration many can gain something valuable in their life.
As stated by someone in the community: "This is a day where people are going to support each other and create unity in the region. When we are stuck in school it was disadvantage the school. We all know that low attendance rate will play a huge role in this. May I remind you twelve people in my homeroom will be absent and that are the kids that PLANNED AND TOLD. A lot of kids will be behind on this day of celebration, strength, and unity. This will affect grades and attendance and it won't look very good for the school district."- Bob Evans
