Flintshire need to offer local collections for SOFT PLASTIC RECYCLING. 

We use 215 Billion pieces of soft plastic each year.

We throw away 290,000 Tonnes of plastic bags and wrapping.

This accounts for one quarter of all consumer packaging and only 6% is recycled.

We would like to see kerbside or local (village) collections to encourage a much higher recycling opportunity.

We collected 2250 bags full of plastic in one village in one year,

IMAGINE how much can we collect and recycle from all the villages and towns in Flintshire!!!!
