Global warming - a term most are familiar with, but few truly understand. The understanding of its impact needs to be broadened and action taken to prevent this environmental issue from becoming irreversible. The Earth's average temperature has risen by 1.18°C since the late 19th century, largely due to increased human emissions into the atmosphere (NASA). Sea levels are rising, ice caps are melting, and species are being pushed to extinction. We can no longer view global warming as a distant threat, but as the defining crisis of our time.

Yet, there is hope. Countries are steering towards renewable energy, sustainable practices are being adopted on global scale and corporations are being held responsible for their environmental footprint. But to solidify these efforts, we need your support.

By signing this petition, we are collectively urging lawmakers to reshape how global warming is understood and handled, emphasizing education and urgent preventive measures. This transition will be pivotal for positive global change. Stand with us, demand that global warming be viewed with the gravity it demands to prevent its irreversibility. Sign our petition today for a sustainable future.
