In an industry where popular channels such as AXN and Star World have already been discontinued, the decision to shut down Comedy Central compounds the issue further. Dedication to shows which evoke laughter and happiness has now been limited to only Zee Cafe and Colors Infinity which, unfortunately, do not cater to comedy-focused content. It's disheartening to imagine that a simple joy after a long, tiring day is being taken away from us.

We want Jio and Hotstar to reconsider their decision on this matter. With their powerful merger, they hold an incredible amount of capacity to stream a broad variety of programs that can attract viewers to their app. It's true that Comedy Central has cemented itself as a staple for Indian viewership due to its unique content. As regular viewers and fans, we urge these platforms to rethink their decision and keep this channel alive.
