Dear supporters and students of D11, the petition was printed and filed with all signatures yesterday and was sent to the Superintendent Michael Gaal. 

I have no update on a word back from the district nor the Colorado Springs D11 board of communications (https://www.d11.org/boe/communications)

The petition I created was originally to legally require the district to read and bring up at the next board meeting, but with research I found all signers have to be registered voters of our state and I would need to see the secretary of state to have this petition notarized and create a Affidavit.

I still sent this petition to have the school board hear the voices of students and parents.
