Hello to all of the amazing supporters of the Reconsider the Closure of Sandy Spring Friends School — Let Our Lives Speak! Petition. When I put this petition together, I hoped to gather a few people who felt the same way that I do about wanting to hear from the SSFS Board of Trustees regarding their decision to close the Sandy Spring Friends School. To date, we've received over 1700 signatures and had over 71,000 views, and I thank you for supporting this petition.

While we have not received a response from the SSFS Board of Trustees to this petition or to the individual emails I sent to the members, there has been an incredible development from a dedicated group of Friends that keeps my hopes alive.

In a mere 72 hours, the newly formed "Friends of SSFS" has gathered over 1000 coalition members and raised over $15 million!!! In solidarity, I am ending this petition now so that we can best consolidate the outpouring of support for our school.
