Recognize the Micronation of the Republic of Nocammade on Wikipedia!
The Issue
I, the creator of this petition, am the ruler of the Republic of Nocammade, the very first micronation established in Northern Ireland, a feat I achieved at the youthful age of 14. Not only have I carved out a new way of life for myself, but I've also provided a template for others to do the same. In fact, there now exists a fascinating range of micronations in the region, each with their own distinct customs, rules, and systems.
Despite the cultural wealth, uniqueness, and historical relevance, our micronations are ignored and overlooked by mainstream platforms. Wikipedia, for instance, offers no recognition or representation to us. Yet, the diversity our micronations and our unique leadership models can contribute richly to the existing pool of knowledge.
We believe that Wikipedia, as a free-access, free-content Internet encyclopedia, has a duty to document these micronational phenomena in Northern Ireland. These micronations may be small, they may be non-traditional, but they are a part of our world, and they should be given due visibility.
A world that honors diverse ways of being is a richer world.
I attempted to change this, and it was rejected by Wikipedia
