PCOS Advocacy Day is a two-day PCOS Challenge event in Washington, D.C. where the country's leading PCOS patient advocates, supporters, healthcare providers, researchers, community and industry partners unite on Capitol Hill to meet with members of the U.S. Congress to urge them to increase federal funding for PCOS research and to support policies that improve quality of care and health outcomes for individuals with PCOS.
This two-day event is an opportunity to:
1) Share your story;
2) Educate members of Congress about PCOS; and
3) Make the case for why more must be done now to advance PCOS research and care.
PCOS Advocacy Day will include:
1) On Wednesday, March 6th –
PCOS Advocacy Training Session from 1-5pm.
2) On Thursday, March 7th –
A morning briefing and training session from 8-10am, followed by meetings with participants’ members of Congress and Hill staff. PCOS Advocacy Day will conclude with a reception and debrief from 4-5:30pm.
