PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association is holding a Congressional briefing on PCOS being delivered on Capitol Hill this coming Wednesday, September 27th and we need your support to compel Congress to take action to help women and girls affected by PCOS. As you may have seen in the media, PCOS Challenge worked with @repdavidscott (GA-13) and 20 other leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives to introduce resolution H.Res.495 in the House. H.Res.495 recognizes the seriousness of polycystic ovary syndrome, the need for further research, improved treatment and care options, and for a cure for PCOS. It also designates September as PCOS Awareness Month. This historic and bipartisan effort now has 31 cosponsors and support from 15 major national associations. It represents the first time there has been a central focus on PCOS in the U.S. Congress.
