Pamuk is a 3 year old Golden Retriever with a heartbreaking story. In early November Pamuk's owner and a neighbour broke Pamuk's front legs for disturbing the neigbours chickens and then CHOPPED OFF her front legs with an ax. The dog was left to suffer until saved by Hatyap - An Animal Rights Federation in Turkey who have been doing an amazing job taking care of Pamuk. It has recently been confirmed that the disgusting people who did this recieved no penalties other than a fine! The owner of Pamuk was fined 181 TL (approx £17) for negligence and the person who chopped off the dog’s legs with an ax was fined 628 TL (approx £60). As many of you would agree this is not ok, it is NOT OK for sick members of the public to carry out something so inhumane and GET AWAY with it without severe penalties. It is NOT OK for the Turkish Government to leave this unnoticed and to not take a more serious action. 

Pamuk needs us to be her voice and so do all the other animals. Justice must be served. Please let's get #justiceforpamuk trending and let's make sure these 'people' suffer the consequences for their actions and the Turkish Government change how they handle these terrible situations in the future.
