Recall U.S. Supreme Court Judges for Abandoning the Student Loan Forgiveness Program

Recall U.S. Supreme Court Judges for Abandoning the Student Loan Forgiveness Program
The Issue
Through my own experience, I’ve witnessed the debilitating impact of student loan debt. My fiancé, like so many others, is inhibited by this burden, while the individuals who have the power to alleviate some of this financial stress refuse to act. The U.S. Supreme Court's refusal to reinstate the Student Loan Forgiveness Program is ruining the lives of tens of millions of Americans, without showing any signs of understanding or compassion.
For context, student loan debt in the U.S. has reached a staggering $1.71 trillion, according to Federal Reserve data. It's a crisis that touches nearly one in five adults, many of whom have been diligently making payments for years but still see their balance grow due to high interest rates and fees. Despite acknowledgments from lawmakers, economists, and educators about the serious negative impacts of this debt on individuals and our economy, the Supreme Court has been tone-deaf.
We urge the necessary authorities to recall all U.S. Supreme Court judges who are refusing to consider the reinstitution of the Student Loan Forgiveness Program. It's time we expressed our fundamental right to demand justice and accountability from our authorities. Please, for the sake of my fiancé and millions of others drowning in student loan debt, sign and share this petition. Your voice counts and together, we can instigate change.
