With Ron Sconce’s combined time as a city alderman and current time as Mayor he is the longest sitting elected official currently in office for the city of Troy. 

Ron has a history of leading by bullying. Ron is unresponsive to citizen concerns unless it fits his own political agenda. 

the city has seen stagnation in growth and poorly planned growth during his tenure as an elected official. 

Under Ron’s time as an elected official, we have seen ridiculous legislation such as pit bull bans, all the while he has received summons for maintaining nuisance and derelict rental properties in the city of Troy. Shocker, no fines. 

I don’t even need to explain the money that the Cherry Street debacle has cost the tax payers. It’s still ongoing and still costing you money. Many want to blame the board of alderman and rightly so. Ron was an alderman when those plans were approved and he voted for them. 

Limited growth or infrastructure has come to the city of Troy under his tenure. This has caused sales tax to rocket higher than anywhere else in the state. Ron has no apparent plan and if he does, we should be concerned about what his track record has shown us  

Good ol’ boy politics got him elected to his current position as Mayor. As mayor, it has become common practice for him to violate state ethics code and even to violate first amendment rights. It’s time for him to go and it’s time for our city to grow. It’s time to let the good ol’ politics of Troy MO know that we are done and over it. 

if we reach enough signatures for a recall on here, more formal steps will be taken to have him removed from office. This action should send a message to him and other elected officials all over the county that we have had enough.
