I am a resident of Utah, deeply concerned about the representation we are receiving from Senator Mike Lee. It has become increasingly clear that Senator Lee does not embody the values and priorities of our state. His voting record and public statements often conflict with the interests and beliefs held by many Utahns.

For instance, his stance on environmental issues is one area where he diverges from many in our state. According to data from Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, 66% of adults in Utah believe that global warming is happening, yet Senator Lee has consistently voted against climate change measures (Yale Program on Climate Change Communication).

Furthermore, his views on healthcare do not align with those of his constituents. The Kaiser Family Foundation reports that 58% of non-elderly adults in Utah have a pre-existing condition. Despite this fact, Senator Lee voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act which protects these individuals (Kaiser Family Foundation).

These are just two examples among many where it appears that Senator Mike Lee's actions do not reflect the values and needs of those he was elected to represent.
