Recall on all ford "eco boom" engine's!!

The Issue

So here we are trying to resort to people power to get FORD UK to accept liability on the ecoboom engine that isn't fit for purpose!!

Thousands of people like myself are left without cars - still outstanding finance  or faced with extremely expensive garage bills to replace the engine completely! The wet belt design is an absolute farce! The tensioner arm is causing the wet belt to break up resulting in the pump clogging and starving the engine of oil, Fords recommended guidelines are 10 years or 150,000 miles for the wet belt to be changed and blaming poor servicing on these cars failing prematurely.

My car alone was a 2017 grand cmax always well looked after, one day the oil light came on seconds later the engine misfired, stopped driving called recovery.. told the engine needs replacing, upon the garage removing the sump it was clogged.

I did not abuse my car!! I used it daily for my family and my business so servicing was always done just not by ford!! (This is their cop out) and the fact the cars just outside the warranty period!

If you have suffered just like me and getting no where with ford - add your signature and your registration!! Mine was WT17LDN

FORD NEED TO RECALL THESE IMMEDIATELY!!

Serious safety defect within the Ecoboost engine, Ford should be liable!! Cars shouldn't be scrapyard worthy at 7 years old!!!

Ford have Recalled the EcoSport and Focus in America, its all ecoboost / wet belt engines! They aren't fit for purpose! The vacuum pump blocking affects the brakes too! Lucky my engine went first, couldn't imagine the brakes failing with my kids in the car
