It's personal for us, the citizens of Boise, Idaho. We feel that our Mayor, Lauren McLean, has become out of touch with our needs and concerns. This disconnection has left us feeling voiceless and unheard - something that should never be the case in a democratic society. Recent decisions have only emphasized this detachment, leaving us uncertain about her commitment to our city's future.  Her continued defiance to follow mandated protocol in favor of promoting her own personal agenda has once again been put on public display with recent flag issues.

Boise, Idaho, is known for its strong community spirit and an ethos rooted in collaboration and understanding. We believe that these qualities should be reflected at the heart of our local government - including in the office of the mayor.

Getting our city back on track is crucial. We need a leader who is responsive, empathetic, and ready to make substantial changes if needed. We need someone who can inspire us to strive for a better future than the “woke” culture she continues to foster.

Mayor McLean has had the opportunity to be this figure, yet there's a pervasive feeling of disappointment and estrangement. The sentiments resonate strongly amongst us, suggesting that a change in leadership might be necessary for the city to heal and move forward.

So today, we, the residents of Boise, Idaho, demand the recall of Mayor Lauren McLean. We believe that it's time for someone else to take the reins and lead with authenticity and a true understanding of our community's needs.
