Sept 19 Asheville City School Board will vote on a proposal to rebuild the Jones Park Playground. If this passes the proposal should be on the September 27th City Council Agenda. Please take a quick minute to email your elected and appointed officials to let them know you'd like to see this rebuilt:

This link will let your draft your own letter or send a form letter to all City Council Members, ACS Board Members and Superintendent. They need to hear from the community that we want this rebuilt.

If you want to attend the ACS Board meeting Monday night September 19th the meeting will be at the ACS Central Office 85 Mountain Street at 5:00 pm. It sounds like many of the board members are supportive of getting this rebuilt. 

The proposal is to have the City of Asheville provide maintenance of a donated playground on land owned by Asheville City Schools.
