Jones Park Playground, a community park where kids and adults connected for decades, was hastily torn down without funds to rebuild. Donations from the public fully funding construction costs are ready to get this rebuilt if City Parks and Recreation will agree to provide maintenance. City Council will be voting soon to approve or deny a request to maintain a donated playground. It will not get rebuilt without their support.
