Leaders of the City, County and Asheville City Schools met last week and are working out details of a proposal to potentially get Jones Park Playground rebuilt. They plan to meet again in two weeks. After this, Asheville City Council and Asheville City School Board will have to vote to approve or deny the proposal, possibly the County Commissioners as well. It's been a long struggle to get to this point and after almost a year I am hopeful that this will get approval, but your support will be essential. As this moves forward I'll keep you all posted.
