Dating all the way back to 1899, Baylor University and Texas Christian University (TCU) have been rivals on the football field, playing over 120 games against each other. It is the most played college football rivalry in the state of Texas, and one of the oldest in the nation. For many years, it was informally named the Revivalry, emphasizing it's importance and ties to each school's religious affiliation. However, in 2023, both universities' student governments came together, and officially named it the Bluebonnet Battle, after the state flower of Texas. Since then, many fans from both schools have shown their distaste for the name, wanting to return to the Revivalry.

We call upon both presidents, and student governments of Baylor University and TCU to rebrand this great and historic rivalry to the Revivalry.
