Bestwood Road, which runs from Hucknall Road, Bullwell to Bestwood Village, is one of the worst road surfaces within the Nottingham City boundary and Nottingham City Council are said to have one of the worst road networks within the country.

This road was already in a terribly dangerous state last year when Nottingham City Council promised that they would provide a new road surface once the new tax year started. 

This promise was not only broken, but they are now back peddling and saying they need to check the budgets. 

Budgets / Money Versus the safety of the public. This shows you what sort of people we are dealing with here in Nottingham City Council and their highways department.

Enough is enough we need a new road surface. This is a City Council mistake as including the road resurface in their deal with the developer was not agreed. This is their mistake and not ours. 

Fix the road the Public needs to be kept safe, the failure to do so is with Nottingham City Council, all their councillors and their Highways Department.
