I wanted to share the disappointing news that Michelle Reid did not recommend changing the high school that Fairhill Elementary School students are assigned to attend.  (The recommendation is that Fairhill students continue attending Falls Church High School.)  This decision is not final since the Fairfax County school board still needs to vote on Michelle Reid's recommendation (on January 22), but I expect them to approve Michelle Reid's recommendation.  However, Fairfax County will reconsider school boundaries every 5 years so I will continue to advocate for this change to be made during a future boundary review.
