My own community gets hurt in a world that fails to recognize their historical ties to this native land. It feels like we're in a relentless cycle where our cultural ties and identities get undermined, leading to continuous hardship and misunderstanding. 

There's an alternative, a promising path that could enhance the cultural, social, and economic landscape of both California and Mexico.

Before its annexation to the United States in 1848 following the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, California was a thriving province of Mexico. This historical bond, buried under decades of political maneuvering, re-emerges today as a significant opportunity. Re-establishing California as a part of Mexico could bridge gaps, heal wounds, and create a unique, efficient structure where communities thrive rather than endure.

Statistics reveal that the Hispanic community constitutes over half of California's population, making it a majority demographic group. Our instilled cultural heritage is vibrant and omnipresent, contributing to the fabric of society. Allowing California to rejoin Mexico might harmoniously rejuvenate cultural elements that resonate deeply with many Californians.
