The residents in Skycourts Dubailand have been paying exorbitant charges for the District cooling Managed by ALPHA UTILITIES . This has been gong on for the past 5 years and despites various meetings / protests etc. no solution has come and the charges are still very high. IN the past protests have been done and was mentioned in newspapers in 2010 / 2012 etc,There seems to no transparency in the calculations / meter readings etc. Month on month the charges keep increasing and the expenses are a big hit. The district cooling charges are supposed to be more efficient and re aimed at reducing the expenses as compared to a window or split ac. but people having the window or split airconditioners have a much lower expense as compared to the district cooling charges.

We need the help from RERA DUBAI and the Dubai government to help rationalise the expenses. alternatively allow the residents to fix their own air conditioners. We look forward to anyone who can help resolve this and find a solutions
