The tour visits sites such as St. Mary's Park, which the guide tells tourists is nicknamed "pickpocket park" and says they will likely be mugged there, gawks at residents on church soup kitchen and food pantry lines, and promises to show guests "the ghetto." This is disgusting to Bronxites like myself who are proud of our hometown and know that it is much more than a what is portrayed in a 1970s movie.
