Traffic Committee meeting

We've reached 2,600 signatures. Thank you so much. I am working hard to make sure that we achieve a solution that is beneficial to all involved. I was interviewed for ITV yesterday which will be shown tonight. Get Reading have published another story regarding the petition which I included with this update. I have exchanged emails with Rob Wilson, MP for Reading East, who has confirmed he has spoken with Jean O'Callaghan and that she is interested in working with the working party. I have also responded to an email from Labour Councillor Jan Gavin who seemed to hold little regard for the petition or the people who have signed it. I reminded her that there are people who have signed this petition who might have helped her get elected and perhaps she should take some time to read the comments. I have also emailed the Highway Objections email with the list of signatures and comments and if they want individual emails from each signatory, I will sit and send 2,600 emails to them, although I did set it up on change.org to send them an email every time someone signed it but I am waiting for confirmation that this actually happened. I will be presenting the petition at the Traffic Committee meeting next week, 6.30pm, 15th June at the Civic Offices. Members of the public can also attend this meeting so if anyone fancies supporting me there, that'd be great :) Please keep sharing the petition and talking about, there are still people out there that haven't heard about it. I'm shouting as loud as I can and I need you to help me just a little bit more!
