The Rea Vaya bus services is one of the transport services that boast about serving and caring for people with disabilities, however their service states the opposite. The Buses are not maintained and as a result, people with disabilities suffer. The buses have wheelchair lifts that assist people on wheelchairs to get in and out of the buses, but on a daily basis, people on wheelchairs get left at the bus stops by drivers because the wheelchair lift is not working, the bus is too fool, or it can only carry one person on wheelchair. 

This problems affects people living with disabilities on a daily basis because like everyone else, we have normal daily lives to live, which include going to work, school, etc. yet because of this problems, our daily routine are disturbed and before our days even begin we are already tired because of the bad service from Rea Vaya. These problems force us to wake up really early in order to accommodate the waiting time. Moreover one would get to the stations where we need to connect to local buses like F2 which require a wheelchair ramp, but fail to do so because sometimes the attendants are not there and we can't carry the ramps on our own, and then we need to do more waiting until a bus with a working lift comes along. These waiting time can take up to 2hours.

All these challenges are unfair to people living with disabilities because like other customers, people living with disabilities pay normal prices yet we receive the lowest services. 

As people living with disabilities our pledges are that we get a satisfying customer service, starting with the wheelchair lifts being maintained to make sure that all the lifts in all buses are working and attendants should always be available at the stations or wheelchair ramps should be installed in all buses just like in F9 and T3 buses.
