We, the supporters of the Newcastle Knights, are calling on the club to reconsider its decision not to re-sign Tyson Frizell.

Tyson has been one of the Knights’ most consistent, dependable and respected players. Week after week, he has shown exactly what Newcastle supporters value: effort, toughness, professionalism, leadership and pride in the jersey.

He turns up. He competes. He leads. He does the hard work. He puts his body on the line. And he plays like wearing the red and blue genuinely means something.

That matters in Newcastle.

This is not simply about keeping a popular player.

It is about recognising what Tyson continues to bring to this football club.

He remains one of the players supporters can rely on to give absolutely everything on the field, while his professionalism and leadership off it help set the standard for the entire squad.

The decision not to re-sign him has understandably left many Knights supporters disappointed.

Fans understand that rugby league is a business.

We understand salary caps.

We understand that difficult roster decisions need to be made.

But there also comes a point where you have to ask:

What kind of players do we want representing Newcastle?

If the answer is hardworking, professional, committed, resilient and proud to wear the jersey, then Tyson Frizell is exactly the type of player this club should be fighting to keep.

Knights fans have stood by this club through everything. We buy the memberships, wear the jerseys, fill the stadiums and follow this team wherever it goes.

We are asking the Newcastle Knights Board, football department and club leadership to listen to those supporters now.

Find a way to re-sign Tyson Frizell.

He has earned the respect of Newcastle because he has never looked like a player simply going through the motions.

He competes.

He leads.

He gives everything.

He has given so much to this jersey, and we believe he still has plenty more to give.

Do not let one of our most respected players walk away while he is still performing at the level Newcastle needs.

Tyson has given everything to the red and blue. Now we are asking the club to give him the opportunity to keep wearing it.

Re-sign Tyson Frizell. Let him finish a Knight.

❤️💙

If you agree, sign this petition and share it with every Knights supporter you know.
