OUR LIBRARY IS NOT A STORAGE LOCKER! 
Update: the chief of operations has returned my email and informed me our branch has been turned into the “pop-up” library vans storage! 

THIS IS OUR LIBRARY AND WE WANT IT OPEN TO OUR COMMUNITY!!

Since covid the local greenford branch of the Mahoning library has been closed. 

this small reading center was very important to the community including elders, families and youth. 
I like many families liked the atmosphere aimed children toward books instead of the playgrounds that other branches have in their libraries that cause them to be distracted by that and not interested in actually reading. 

I miss walking with my kids to this local branch to get books. It was always a nice addition to the summer and winter months to have something right here to browse through. 

It seems we are not a priority to the Mahoning county library as they are not planning to reopen the branch. We pay taxes just like anyone else and vote for their levies. We want our branch reopened!
