As of this being posted, Re-Logic have just released a hotfix update for Terraria: Journey's End, in which one of the many things that have been removed is "bad torch luck"! I know this petition hasn't done much to achieve this, but it has happened and I am glad. Thank you to everyone who helped the cause!
