Petition updateStop the demolition of Kingston's Kingfisher Leisure CentreIs Kingston Council's heritage vision just another unaffordable and unfunded mirage?

There's not long left to save The Kingfisher Leisure Centre and to stop unfunded plans for a new -possibly commercially-run - leisure centre that may leave Kingston's Museum and Library rotting in the same way as the Grade II-listed Old Bingo Hall has been left for years- waiting for 16-20 storey towers to be built, in this case on The Cattle Market, before they get funding to be refurbished

Read my latest blog post which explains how there is currently no funding and there are currently no plans for a heritage centre next to the proposed new leisure centre

You hadn't heard there are plans for a number of very tall towers in excess of 16 storeys on the Cattle Market?

The plans have been kept very quiet but the development of a new leisure centre is part of the same council business plan

Please donate now to the fundraiser to see if we can get a legal letter to support our pleas to Kingston Council to rethink their plans. There is not much time left

Thank you for your continuing interest and support.

Caroline
