A journalist from My London who has contacted me was amazed at how much we have raised in so little time and will be publishing an article on the proposed new leisure centre shortly

We now need to raise the remaining £2000 as quickly as possible

Please encourage your friends, neighbours and family to donate and share the fundraiser details with local groups on social media. We only need to raise 100 lots of £20 to meet our funding target

I have just posted a new blog post

Does the proposed new leisure centre in Kingston really offer "outstanding" facilities for sportspeople as claimed by Kingston Council and were we given the information we needed to decide?

Will lack of access by car to the centre raise safety and access issues for residents living around it as coaches queue to drop off in the two coach bays; and safety issues for pedestrians on site as a stream of coaches is turning around over the pedestrian area?

How much did the "Let's Talk" engagement process lead us along a pre-determined path to a leisure centre details of which had already been decided?

Let's keep the momentum going and find out if Jeeny Wigley QC believes that there are legal grounds to ask Kingston Council to review their plans to demolish The Kingfisher and for a replacement leisure centre.
