Over the past few days it has become public knowledge through social media, email, text message and, Word of mouth itself some of the most horrific lies about our respected and impeccable Minahel, Rav Elimelech Meisels . It is to our disgust and upset stomachs that we feel we must speak up. We have spent a year, some of us two or more with Rav Meisels. This terrible lie that has circulated has us confused and sick to our stomachs. We cannot imagine how these disastrous lies have rabunim and Jews questioning Rav Meisels immaculately God- fearing reputation. It is understandable that when rumors circulate, das Torah must look deep into a situation to see if Chas v'sholom there is something dangerous. Unfortunately, even Rabbanim and powerful Jewish leaders have been persuaded by the power of money, speech and Loshon Hara of powerful people. And we, the students and friends and colleagues of Rav Misel's stand together to stop the Loshon Hara. As a Jewish nation, we may NOT believe loshon hora. And as students who have had our lives completely altered and changed for the better because of Rav Meisels, we are here by making a public statement: Rav Elimelech Miesels is a wonderful Rav, full of love for Torah and yidden. His goal over his past years in P'ninim, Chedvas, Binas, and Keser Chaya has been to help Bais yaakov girls become strong women, well versed in Torah and law to be able to build a Torah home of reality and truth. Rav Meisels never once spoke to me inappropriately. Rav Meisels never once touched me inappropriately. Rav Meisels never acted in a suggestive way towards me. Rav Meisels changed my life for the better and his school helped me only in a positive way. I do not believe the terrible lies. I will not stand for sinas chinam and loshon hora. I will defend Rav Meisels and the incredible seminary's he started. The people who continue to spread these terrible rumors and the girls and families who made this up only Hashem can judge, it is not our place. But they should be aware they do not fully know the ripple effects of their lies. they could have ruined a yid's life, his family's integrity , a marriage, children's shiduchim, a schools reputation, and so much more. WE WILL NOT ALOW THAT TO HAPPEN. As Jewish people we will not allow that to happen to such a holy Rav. You can never take this back. Your actions and words have punctured a deep hole.
