This is to inform everyone who has signed the petition that it has been officially delivered this afternoon to Jude Kelly, Southbank Centre’s artistic director. On a related note: from queries I have received, there appears to be some confusion as to what the closing of the petition meant. Just to clarify, the signatures of those who signed before the petition was closed are on the delivered petition. By ‘closed’ it means it is closed to new signatures (reasons for this are in the previous update). I am currently still in conversation with the organisers and hope we reach a conclusion soon.
