The Education Ministry of Sri Lanka has made arrangements to appoint a 33 year old as the new Principal of Royal College from Monday 18 March 2019. This individual has a grand total of 2 years experience as the Principal of Prince of Wales. He has been chosen via an unknown selection criteria. 

With the support of Sanjeewa Jayawardena (PC) and many other senior lawyers, 3 cases have already been filed in courts challenging this decision.
