Councillor Dylan Parker here. I just thought I would let you know that Council has successfully secured $200,000 grant funding for a new inclusive play space at Coral Sea Park this year. Council will also be matching this funding in our budget to ensure the playground upgrade happens.

This means that once Council’s budget is formally adopted next month, we will begin community consultation on what local residents want to see in a new inclusive playground in the first half of 20/21 (June - Dec) and if all goes to plan construction should begin in the second half of 20/21.
