We object to the development (DA-769/2016) on the basis that it is unsuitable and unsympathetic to the neighbourhood, resulting in severe loss of residential amenity to surrounding homes.
The proposal represents an over development of the site by at least one unit, as demonstrated primarily by its non-compliance with both core statutory controls; building depth and FSR. There are numerous other non-compliances with the ADG and Randwick DCP. The site planning is poorly considered given the width of the site, zone interface with a Low Density R2 zone, the proximity of single residential dwellings and three Heritage Items The application should be refused as the Clause 4.6 variations cannot be supported.
