The Federal Reserve's actions require explanation. Since it is comprised of banks and shareholders, it should be audited as any other bank would be. The Transparency Act reintroduced by Senator Bernie Sanders in 2009 was a small step in the right direction. This expansion (The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2015) will reveal the nature of an institution that holds great power over the U.S. economy.
