Long post about Dcbs and my children. Please be advised the photos are graphic.

My kids were removed from my home on August 5, 2018 due to the fact that Shannon Clark ran out of gas in Hardin at the Dollar General store. He was arrested on the precident of public intoxication, but wasnt given a sobriety test. Dcbs calls me to come pick up my children, I didnt have a ride so I asked my cousin Amber Henson if she would go up and wait with my children until I got there. A short time later I'm picked up by our friend AJ. When I get to the Dollar Store I'm told what happened and I'm arrested on an outstanding warrant for stealing food for my kids from food Giant. Three hours before I'm to be released from jail, a dcbs worker calls me out of my cell to have me sign papers that they are taking my children from Amber. When I ask them why, they allege substance abuse issues with the mother. I went to court two weeks later, where I'm requested to take a hair follicle test. My test comes back negative for all substances! I should have gotten my children back correct? Wrong. Its then amended to neglect because I was arrested when picking up my kids. But that got amended because they released my kids over to my cousin. Then it was amended to dependency because I was incarcerated and couldnt take care of my kids. So why do I still not have my kids back?

Since September 12, 2019 my kids have had some sort of a bruise, or a mark on either their face, legs, hands, arms, or back back. My son had to have stitches, my daughter hospitalized. I have video evidence of my case worker stating that she talks to my children before every visit. I have video evidence of my daughter telling me the foster mother pushed her down and that she whips my son with his pants down for using the potty in his pull up. I have video evidence of the case worker coaching my children. And of her covering up for the foster mom. I have since contacted the school my children go to, the local sheriffs department, the casa worker and also sent an email to Frankfort. My lawyer is also well aware of the abuse my children have gone through. I have documented all the pictures and videos and sent them to each individual agency to get my kids removed from this situation. I have text messages between me and the social worker along with the casa worker.

I have completed everything but anger management on my case plan. I don't feel it necessary for me to take it when I have a "My kids are being abused issue" and not an anger issue. I havent missed a visit with my kids since March except for when I was incarcerated June 7, 2019 and then mandated to go to rehab in order to get my kids back. I have completed I.O.P and have since submitted clean random drug screens. During this time period, my daughter Summer shows up to the visit with makeup on her neck. I wipe it off and notice she has bruising around her neck and on her chest. I show it to Diana the woman who supervises the visits. She takes pictures and sends it to Jennifer. A few days later Jennifer comes to my house and proceeds to tell me that the marks on Summers neck was from where Summer got her head tangled in the swing set. I shake my head and tell her that, that story makes no sense. For one if this story is true why are the bruises covered up with makeup, second why is my daughter out side unsupervised, third why is she outside long enough for it to cause brusing that tells me my daughter was choking. And lastly why wasnt anyone informed of the incident?. Jennifer then claims that she doesnt think she was choked by the foster parent and if she thought that the foster parents was hurting my kids she would remove them. To which I thought to myself I wasn't thinking the foster mother, more like another kid but I am now thinking that. We also discuss unsupervised visits and she tells me to complete I.O.P and have more clean drug screens and I would get unsupervised visits with my children. So after I complete I.O.P and submit more clean drug screens, I'm served papers stating they are trying to terminate my parental rights. This coming right after I call her out about her covering up Summers incident. My son J.J had to get 9 stitches in his face. And the list goes on and on.

So with that being said I am now taking this a step further and have reported it to Frankfort. I have heard numerous other stories similar to mine from other families in Marshall county, Graves, Calloway, Mccracken, and Ballard. Something has to give..... My kids were never abused in my care nor were they neglected or in need of dependency....

 Our kids need a voice. And not one that coaches them either.

I have pictures of the marks and bruises that my kids have. They even have what resembles burn marks on their faces. I'm doing everything the legal way to get them home, as a mother I just want them safe. The environment they are currently in is critically harming to their well being, they need moved to another placement until I can finish this and get them HOME!
