In light of the COVID pandemic, Governor Northam has shut down the Virginia Economy until June 10th. This order will have a major impact on our economy and force many businesses, who initially thought they could sustain for a few weeks, to completely close and lay off employees. We understand the importance of social distancing and the seriousness of this pandemic and we are only asking for a reasonable timeline to restore our business.   

In addition, a portion of the CARES Act payroll protection loan can be forgiven based on monies spent on payroll, rent, utilities, etc for any 8 week period through June 30th. By closing VA Economy through June 10, Gov Northam has essentially taken away the ability for these businesses to utilize the Federal funding available. 

Governor Northam, as a Virginia resident and/or business owner, I implore you to open the VA economy prior to June 10.
